Cairns Training Academy (CTA) have been delivering  Nationally Recognised training since initial registration as an RTO (Registered Training Organisation) in 2002 by Dianne Payne,  CEO and owner. 

Dianne's passion for the early childhood and disability sectors was the initial reason for setting up her own RTO. CTA have since December 2002, provided countless career and employment pathways for both mainstream and secondary school students. 

Current courses leading to a Nationally Recognised qualification on offer by Cairns Training Academy include:

• Early Childhood Education and Care required by Educators working in childcare centres. (Diploma and Certificate lll)

• School-based Education Support for Teacher-aides working in schools (Certificate lll)

• Individual Support for Disability Support Workers (Certificate lll)

• Allied Health Assistance for assistants in a variety of Allied Health settings (Certificate lll)

• If you are under 25 years of age, and your employer wants you to upskill and gain a qualification through an Apprenticeship or Traineeship, you and your employer may be eligible for financial incentives of up to $5000 plus there will not be any student co-contribution fees

• Secondary school students can start a school-based Traineeeship from year 10 and also be entitled to receive government payments of up to $2500
